With Less Than 48 Hours To the ‘A Christmas Story’ Black Friday, We Want To Share These Incredible ACS Finds, Throwback Photos, And Self Care Tips

So first things first, let's check out these incredible finds:

Now, when it comes to self care in the winter time, there is nothing I enjoy better than pj’s, warm fuzzy socks, snacks, and A Christmas Story DVD playing on my TV.

With these self-care tips, this holiday season just might become your favorite season.

Tip #1 - Go outside and play, thats right!

Whether you go outside for a little cardio session or just playing around with the kiddos, getting fresh air and enjoying nature does wonders for your mind, body, and spirit.

Tip#2 - Keep a gratitude journal

Remember and appreciate all the great things you do have by keeping a gratitude journal, especially when the holiday blues kick in. Gratitude can improve your mood, your self-esteem, and your all-around positivity.

Tip#3 - Hydrate your body

It's starting to get cold and the winter air can act like a moisture vacuum placed on your skin. Make sure you’re using lotion and moisturizer to hydrate those dry, flaky areas. Drinking enough water each day is also a necessity you shouldn’t neglect.

Tip#4 - Treat yourself

After a long day of work and grind, sometimes you just need to give yourself a break and indulge in a sweet treat—like hot cocoa.

Tip#5 - Let there be light

Unfortunately, the holiday seasons may cause many people to experience Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), a condition that mimics the symptoms of depression due to lack of sunlight and vitamin D. To combat SAD, try taking a vitamin D supplement or trying light therapy.

Tip#6  -Take a bubble bath

When is the last time you actually took the time to soak in the tub while reading Jean Shepards book "In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash"? Add some Epsom salt or some bubbles and just give your body time to warm up in the cozy goodness. You’ll thank yourself later.

Tip#7 - Drink your Ovaltine

 Well… enough said there

AND THE BEST TIP OF ALL:

“Binge-Watch The A Christmas Story Movie!”

Wow! There’s a lot there… All the thrills, the laughs, the heartwarming moments, and don’t forget the soft spot you have in your heart for Grover Dill and Scut Farkus (because you know deep in your heart they can be good kids, they just need some love).

This year when I settle down to watch the movie... I’m doing it with my Dr. Pepper and candy in hand, with something I never had before; my brand new throwback photos of the cast hanging on the perfect spot right next to my TV.

Not only was I able to snag an adorable photo of Randy pigging out on meatloaf, a photo of Grover Dill, and even a photo of Ralphie with Flick behind the scenes. All of them were hand-signed authentic autographs accompanied by certificates of authenticity!

I was lucky enough last year to have found the ‘A Christmas Story Family’ group on Facebook. I was ecstatic when I learned they had a gift shop that has so many incredible memorabilia items from the cast of my favorite Christmas movie!

Pssst… Here’s a secret! That’s where I was able to find these amazing collectibles : )

So when you’re finally ready to relax, pull up a blanket and enjoy A Christmas Story by yourself or with friends or family and remember to stop by cast members’ gift shop and grab some authentic autographed memorabilia.
